Sedrial Soulspring (Astri Lohne)

The artwork shown here is not an original piece of mine, but a replication with the
sole intention of improving my skills. I have no malicious intent of taking the credit
and harming the author's rights or pride in any way, so bear with me.

The original work is a property of Astri Lohne

This girl took me a lot of time. Half a year of diligent work and love for her.
Well, it doesn't justify the long six months... If there is anything to blame, then it’s my
fickle-minded brain: first, I have to switch to Japanese, then practice English, and
then out of nowhere my friends show up and I need to walk through a couple of new
games. That is it. And in the end, out of the final 6 months, I really spent on drawing
only about 3 months maximum.
But hey, my 3 months versus 13 hours in the video process from the original author...
It's still a really big difference.

I am glad it’s hasn’t become a spitting image.
My version has acquired its own individuality and I want to believe that it’s equal to
the original artwork in elegance. But since I selected brushes by sight, and due to
my lack of skill, I didn’t manage to fully achieve the depth of work that Astri gave us.
Yet I learned a lot. At least not to use the same customized Kuvshinov's brush in all
my works. And it seems I managed to dispel the fog in my head, when reaching a
certain stage of progress, I just don’t know what to do next and how to achieve some
depth. And that’s why I started this study.

If you like this work please also consider to show love and respects to Astri Lohne.
She deserves it more than me. The quality of her work is astounding.
